Write your WHY down on paper and put it in a visible place like your fridge, bathroom mirror or on your desk. The only way someone can get deterred on the program is a lack of planning. Be prepared. If you have a long day on the road, have what you need to take care of your body prepared the night before. Take 10 minutes, stop and eat your food. Remember, this is a habit you will need to have for maintenance. No more skipping meals or starving your body! If you are going out for a meal, research the menu online first and make sure they can accommodate your needs. Steak, veggies and green salads are available in most places. Restaurants that get great reports from our dieters include Cactus Club, White Spot, Earl’s, The Keg and independent local places in Vancouver, like Jules Bistro in Gastown. You can also never go wrong at a Sushi place by ordering sashimi and greens without dressing. Think ahead!
